January 2017 Favorites!!

My current makeup favorites for the month of January have been some new released products and also some old holy grails that I can not just put down, also I got to try out some samples that I ended up loving this month.

Skincare Favorites

I have been absolutely been loving the Acure, MyChelle & Andalou Products esp the Acure facial cleansing cream. They are so gentle and having an amazing fresh spa like fragrance. Have also been using Rose hip oil for that added moisture.

Makeup Favorites

Primer:
I got the Lancome as a deluxe sample as a point perk from Sephora a while ago that I tried, after trying it out for the first time I have not used anything since. A little goes a long way and it does a fantastic job in smoothing out the skin. I will def be getting a full size after I am done with this mini sample. Winner!!

Foundation:
I have found myself reaching out for two foundations a lot this month, first is Hourglass Vanish Seamless Finish Foundation Stick and then the new Maybelline Cushion Compact Foundation that i am blown away by, its radiant & it has amazing coverage. Its super lightweight and blurs out my imperfections like an Instagram filter. Its so bomb!!!
The Hourglass Vanish stick gives really good coverage and is perfect for the winter dry months. Its creamy and the shade medium beige matches me perfectly.
Plus its really quick and easy to apply.

Concealer/Corrector:

January has been a month of no sleep for me. So I have had to reach out for those concealers for some extra help conceal my under eye circles. I used Tarte Shape Tape is for the full coverage goodness! Clarins for when I felt i need more of a hydrating concelar and I tried out the new Wet n Wild Photo Focus Concealer that is surprisingly a really nice medium coverage creamy concealer.

Powder:
I tend to steer away from powders being a dry skin girl in the winter months. But just to finish off and set everything in place, I dust some with a very light hand. The Laura Mercier Candleglow Powder gives my face subtle dewy look with a little luminosity. Love!

Bronzer/Contour:
I have discovered Nyx Cosmetics Highlight & Contour Pro Palette palette recently, and ever since i bought it i have not been able to put it down, i have used this all month long. This palette is everything!! It’s great shade range makes application a breeze, warms up the complexion without leaving things muddy, the cool toned brown is perfect to contour the jawline and my nose 😉 I am actually not much into contouring but having fun with this palette.

Blush:
My blush picks for this month have been the New Essence Touch blush blushe’s in Satin Coral & Satin Love. I have used the cutest ever Too Faced Sweet Peach blush in ‘Papa dont Peach’ as a blush topper and it adds a beautiful sheen on top over the matte blush.

Highlighter:

The highlighter i reached for most once again this month is the Wet n Wild Precious Metals. Need I say much about this gorgeous highlighter?

Eyeshadow:

If you know the you tuber/blogger ‘Simply Sona’ she launcher her own eyeshadow Palette called the Persona Identity Palette that I bought because of the gorgeous colors in it. OBSESSED!! I hope you got its amazing. The second Palette is the Sweet Peach Palette that has been selling out so quick and I can definitely see why…just because it is such a MUST HAVE!!

Mascara:

Two Mascaras that I have loved in January are the-

Lipstick:

I have been mixing the two colors of the Maybelline Inti-Matte Nudes. They are matte but not drying. I put a bit of gloss on top if things get too drying. These are very smooth and pretty lipsticks. Aaand to give my lips that luscious juicy look I have love love loved the March Jacobs Lipgloss is Allow Me.

Other favorites: Among my other favorites this month has been this sparkly necklace from Baublebar that I am obsessed with.
