I bought only one shade in 710 Caramel to try it out first. Its a nicely pigmented and creamy texture and it reminded me a lot of the Maybelline Color Tattoo ($6.99 lasts on my eyelids forever) except, it is more creamier and softer in texture. Which is why, I feel if you have oily eyelids like I do, I would definitely recommend you wear an eye primer like Wet ’n Wild Fergie Take on The Day or Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion before you use it or else it will be harder for the shadow to adhere, it will slip and slide, crease and even transfer if you have hooded eyelids. Also dust a thin layer of translucent powder over the lids with a blending brush to set the primer and then move on with the creme shadow.

Caramel has tiny flecks of silver shimmery sparkles in it which is not chunky at all, infact it is very pretty!! I applied the shadow with the inbuilt brush, it picked up the product well and applied nicely, the brush is synthetic, it is slightly pointy so it is easy to apply shadow even in the inner corners of the eyes. I tested the shadow first without a primer on my eyes. I also swatched the shadow on my hand. While the shadow on my hand did not budge for 8-10 hours, even after washing my hands a couple of times it stayed on intact, the shadow from my eyes was gone completely in 3 hours. IT JUST DISAPPEARED! and i feel this could be because I did not use a primer.

I believe these shades are going to be permanent in the line and have started showing up in drugstores already. Have you seen these creme shadows? As compared to the Maybelline Color Tattoo they are about $2.00 up in price, now will try them out more to find out if they are half as good as my color tattoos. I would love to hear your thoughts on the Revlon Creme Shadows.
