Stila Perfect Me, Perfect Hue Eye & Cheek Palette Review!

Hey Everyone! Recently, Stila came out with The Perfect Me, Perfect Hue Palettes for Spring 2106 Collection, all four Palettes are labeled for your perfect hues, Fair/Light, Light/Medium, Medium/Tan & Tan/Deep

I wasn’t in the market to buy another palette but since I love, love, love Stila eyeshadows, I just went past the Stila wall of display and happen to swatch the shadows, of course i loved one of these Palettes so much that since then i had been lusting over it, I still held my ground and did not get it because I DON’T NEED any more eyeshadows!! A week later 21 Days of Ulta – Beauty’s Biggest Event started and guess what went on Sale??? So I was able to get the Stila Perfect Me, Perfect Hue Eye & Cheek Palette for only ($19.50) in Tan/Deep. Now that was a steal!!

Stila

Each palette contains:

  • 5 neutral Eye Shadows: Base, lid, crease, liner and highlighter in matte and shimmer finishes. Long-wear, one swipe color.
  • 2 coordinating blushes: 1 matte and 1 pearl. Use individually or together to achieve different looks.

Tan/Deep Palette features five eyeshadows (in both matte and shimmer finishes) and two blush shades (both matte) that is better suited for those with tan to deep skin tones, that does not mean if have a lighter skin tone you can’t use it. You absolutely can! In fact, when i swatched all of them in store i definitely felt the lighter palettes fell short & the medium & deep palettes stood out. The blush Witty in the palette was quite intense & I do have to tone down a lot by using a very light hand (still very pretty though) it stayed on my ckeeks all day long & the shadows in tan/ deep are gorgeous!!!

Each Perfect Me, Perfect Hue Eye and Cheek Palette retails for $39.00, the texture of the shadows is very soft, and the pigmentation. Packaging is adorable, its a small pretty gold compact. It has a camouflaged leopard print on it which is super pretty. The back of the palette tells you the names and how to use each of the colors. Nice for travel since it comes with a mirror. The palette is made of a durable hard plastic that clicks satisfyingly when closed.

I already own some Palettes from Stila from some time back that used to come in cardboard packaging if you remember, I own two of those in ‘Stila in The Know’ & ‘Stila in The Light’ I use them a lot & they never disappoint me. The texture of these shadows are buttery soft, they glide on to my lids with minimal fall out. Unfortunately these are not available anymore, but my point of mentioning these older versions is that the shadows in the Perfect Me, Perfect Hue Palette totally remind me of them, the texture feels the same, smooth & pigmented only the packaging is different.

My Final Thoughts- I really enjoy this Palette I feel its very well coordinated. The shadows are very pigmented & blendable . A no fuss Palette for everyday use and for travel. The blushes are very pretty I use the them as eyeshadow too.
