One brand- Wet n Wild!

Hello! hello! I am very excited to write this post on one of my favorite drugstore brands Wet n Wild. Starting with WnW Eyeshadows I’d say they are super inexpensive, are such high quality, very soft & among the best drugstore eyeshadows in terms of pigmentation, texture & longevity.

My first ever product from wet n wild was the Wet n Wild Color Icon Collection Eye shadow Trio in “Walking on Eggshells” ($2.99) and I had an immediate love affair with it. It is a wonderful neutral eye shadow trio, goes on beautifully and stays on ALL day. Just enough metallic to look nice but not annoyingly sparkly.

I reach for this trio very often. The colors in this palette are very pretty & soft, it includes a light pink lid shade, medium brown crease color, and white highlight. The shadows are smooth and creamy. It is great for both every day & for work. Has a little bit of shine and all day wear. However, if you are looking for a matte shadow then this may not be your jam it definitely has a shimmery satin finish (which i like), it also has quite a bit of fallout since the powders are so soft & also tends to mix up if not blended carefully so don’t forget to tap off the excess shadow. Overall, its a must have, if you are looking to try inexpensive eye shadow with just a few cons then just go for it!!!

Another Earth toned Palette that has the most wearable colors in the Color Icon series is the ‘Comfort Zone’ Palette. Retails for $4.99. This palette blew me away, the shadows are very soft & pigmented, blend really well and once again are comparable high- end expensive shadows. Colors in the palette are perfect colors for fall, its so pretty it even has a duo chrome in there that reminds me of Mac club eye shadow.

Wet n Wild came out with the Lost in the Wild Flowers collection that creates quite buzz in the beauty industry. Especially the two LE Megaglo Highlighting Powders in precious Petal & Crown of my Canopy. This collection pretty much sold out everywhere so quick that many were not even able to get a hold on the products from this line. I was lucky enough to find a full display at CVS unexpectedly this was when i almost gave up hunting these.

Only after buying these $4.00 highlighting powders and using them I found out why everyone is going bananas about them?!!?? BECAUSE they are insanely pigmented, so finely milled and stand up against all of our favorite powder highlighters right now, Becca, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Cover FX…You name it!! the best thing about them is that they apply well with out showing any texture on the skin, look gorgeous and stay all day. The bad thing is they’re LE & impossible to get your hands on.

Shhhh…i have a little secret to share with you here that I have learnt from my very reliable sources and that is Wet n Wild is making Megaglo Highlighting Powders PERMANENT sometime next year!!! So dont sweat if you were not able to get them…you will soon!!!

I own many WnW Lipsticks and two colors I reach for very often are in Nightcap & Bare it all (Price- $2.19). I really love both of them. Nightcap is a deep brown/brick shade & Bare it all is a true Nude Color. Nightcap can be built up to be a rich decadent lip especially in Fall or can be sheered out over a lip balm.

The only downside of the lipstick is the packaging, the lipstick does not retract in the bullet so you got to be extra careful will putting the lid back on. Wet n Wild lipsticks are very pigmented & long lasting. For the price these are aahmazing!

Wet n Wild is a great drugstore brand that rarely disappoints….while there are a ton of positive experiences with lots of Wet n Wild goodies, there are also a few products they wont work in this line so do your research before you decide to buy something, of whats hot and whats not! Hope you enjoyed reading this one brand post of my favorite Wet n Wild Must Haves. Please leave a comment letting me know about your favorite WnW products 🙂
